The Church of Thea Apo Mesa (View from Within) θέα από μέσα is an open-source religion for the technological age of humankind.

Our goal is to establish a global quorum of people to discuss the concept of spirituality within a Simulated Universe.

If our existence is entirely within a computer simulation, then what are Gods/Goddesses, spirits, Saints, Demons, magick, faith and prayers? Are Deities the programmers themselves, with Saints and Demons performing the role of SysAdmins? Is Lucifer a virus, or a hacker come to liberate us? Does reincarnation exist because our personal codes continue to be cut and paste back into the program? Is group prayer a form of DDoS attack on the system itself? Can we, through meditation, and discussion, come to understand the truth of our existence through this techno-spiritual lens?

We hope so, and we invite you to join us on this path. We have no canonical works that you must unquestionably subscribe to, and instead, seek to create an open-source belief system wherein all members are equal, and all ideas are open for discussion.
